Quick note about winter training so far

Well, I don't know about you but I think it's time for an update considering I appear to have dropped off the radar at present. Don't worry folks, I'm still alive and kicking.
Had a busy few months up to this point, British Schools, Base Training, Hawkshead and cross country.
British schools was a few weeks ago now but won by dead on one minute over Callum so really happy with that, even though it was basically running it showed I'm still on track for next season.
Base training's going pretty well, bit of a lack of motivation at the minute, but hey ho, plenty of time and these come in cycles, going to start picking it up in the next few weeks or so, I've just been absolutely swamped with work etc.
HawksHead was great fun, great to see all the boys again and some quality lakes training. Need to work on hills a touch more but overall, not too much to complain about, speed was lacking compared to a few months ago but that's not what I've been working on so a very productive weekend really.
Been having a bit of success in the field of running races too, consistently hitting 5th/6th in county schools, all very positive there and winning the santa fun run in lutterworth too so all good there again really.
Fancy getting out for a bit more orienteering soon though as I don't want my technique slipping.
Ok, that's all there is to say at present really, just continuing with training and will update if anything major happens or, failing that, around christmas or new years some time, onwards and upwards my friends...
